| What is Woodward
Crossing :: Woodward
Crossing exists as a place where young adults of all
backgrounds can come together in an environment
of deep character and truth with the backdrop of
quality, diverse entertainment. The context of
urban, modern music offers you an opportunity to
personally and genuinely search through spiritual
matters among others with the same desire. We want
you to have a great time developing authentic
relationships, listening to engaging music, hearing
powerful messages, and being able to talk about what
really matters to you.
Woodward Crossing has a
coffeehouse-style setting where you can buy drinks and
food while listening to multiple bands on the auditorium
stage. Because Woodward Crossing is in the heart
of Detroit, which has become a vibrant community of
artistic urban dwellers, we seek to find local acts that
will entertain as well as greet the audience following
the show. Finally, Woodward Crossing has a
bookstore and media center where you can find the
artists' latest work, information about area Christian
groups and churches, and topical spiritual resources.
Woodward Crossing is hosted by Metropolitan United
Methodist Church in its Kresge Hall Auditorium once per
month. For details on timing and events, please
see our event schedule.
